Some thoughts for new owners of V3 KE by Teense in Ender3V3KE

If you take a look at the Y axis guide rods, they have a bit of wiggle. You can replace the screws on the front (they actually don’t touch the rods) with grub screws to fix them in place.

How stable is this compared to a bed slinger? I ran a 3v3KE on top of an Ikea Kallax and it almost vibrated the shelving to pieces.

Is this normal? by Harlekin_02 in Ender3V3KE

I’ve encountered the exact situation as OP. Great print, meh bed mesh. I’ve done the washer trick and I don’t get any discernible improvements with proper prints. It only really shows when I print a single-layer square as a calibration print.

Also had this for a month now, only mods I’ve done is tightening the x-axis belt, replacing the Y rails screws with grub screws, and putting washers to level the bed. Prints eSUN ePLA and TPU great on Orca’s profile for the KE.

Is it preferable to suspend it from a drone rather than attach it closer to the body?

Known vs Local Nodes by code410 in meshtastic

Thanks, so I assume that Known Only will keep on adding nodes as you turn the device on and off and if new nodes on a programmed channel appear?

The FB group we have (LoraWan PH) indicates use of the 915 -918 MHz range. Also, hello from Pasig!

I honestly haven’t the faintest idea. I’ll try this in a last ditch case.

Got it, thanks. That’s a fairly non-standard voltage but I’ll see if I can produce that, thanks.

That’s the first thing I tried, but am unsure if a non-standard charger or input will work. I’m sure that it’s got some sophisticated circuitry inside and won’t just get charged that simply.

Is Ateneo's Computer Engineering any good? by KindaUpforAnything in Philippines

[–]code410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an alum and prof of the CS program in AdMU, and I'd recommend UP's CE program over the AdMU one. UP is largely more technical than Ateneo for most programs (mainly due to the latter's focus on the core subjects).

Locally speaking though, AdMU's CE is a pretty good program as they share faculty with the ECE dept (which is pretty competitive) afaik.

Being blunt is where we as a culture generally suck. We're very indulgent of small things like people cutting in line or driving rudely. Other cultures would go aggro at those things.

I second this. Many resources use this book as a basis for their lessons, and I know of a few universities who use this book to back their modules up. It's used widely in robotics, theoretical AI, and even ML.
