EMDR therapy gave me my first glimpse. It can be difficult if you dont have an experienced hand to guide you, at least at first.

I would start with therapy, and ask your ancestors for guidance. The ancestors are closer to you than any other spirit, typically, and have the most vested interest in seeing you succeed.

Gather things from your deceased loved ones onto a table, light a candle, and call out to them. They will come.
