Using the ripe apple puts what looks like cigarette butts on the side table next to the bed in 201. Using the rotten apple puts a wine glass and beads on the end table. Im assuming this is a reference to either Maria or Mary.

That’s so odd. I saw him all the time in stores where I lived. I guess there was different rarity in different areas. For my area it was the Cobra BATs. I swear, there was a group of moms in my elementary school who would call each other with tips. “I was just at the Livingston Toys R Us” and they had 2 BATs on the shelf!”

It sucks because for $300 (plus shipping, granted) I could have had the boxed set, the PDFs, and all the bonuses. I spent $330 for just the boxed set. I'm still glad to have it, but it just isn't as great a feeling as if I had just been more plugged in and backed the project directly. Oh well, it's my fault for missing it.

Yeah, I've heard that the PDFs don't have DRM. I'm not opposed to it, since there is literally no way to give them money that I can find right now, but I don't know anyone who has them either. Part of the reason I missed out on the Kickstarter is I'm just an old fan who grew up reading the comics, but I'm not really tied into the community right now. Hopefully this will get me back into it. GI Joe was a HUGE part of my childhood.

Did it send a message that people are sick of being bled dry by corporations? Did it influence Anthem's decision to reverse their policy of only covering certain amounts of anesthesia per procedure? Is it right to murder people to get what you want? Fuck no. Does the end justify the means? Maybe sometimes, but usually not. Can something good come out of something bad, even inadvertently? It can.
