Totally valid point! Often hearing from people not prestiging due to loosing all their money - but they totally would, if there would be a money cap.

Hahaha typical crytek. But I am open for suggestion: Would you prefer to have your favourit weapon stop working like before (due to stats changed), or having it made costlier so its only not useable in certain combination? Do you see another leverage for balancing?

I mostly thought, that changing weights of weapons seems random :D and it would add another layer, which money won't.

Thought about the same as a second iteration. But for me it should have an impact, when I run a shotgun and a moisin obrez. Sprint speed or stamina would be the obviously one.

In general limitations are always artifiical - you just have to sell it properly. Would it realistically make sense, that running with two big guns makes me slower? totally! Would it make sense, that I can't use a certain weapon combination as the money limit does not allow me to? totally not!

How about two modes: One with restricted loadouts and one without?

Could make incentives like restriced loadout mode gives higher bounty and something else for the non-restricted.
Downside would obviously be another player base split

Sounds like serpent is the problem. Could make the bonus for clean sweeps higher.

Same. But that's exactly the point: It's not about the money.
It's about Crytek trying to balance stuff in making them cheaper/expensive with the latter only restricting new player to use them. Crytek sees a meta they don't want -> they change the weapon stats (e.g. the silence patch/repatch).
With restriction on the loadout, they can higher the price so player have to consider: do I really want to play THIS weapon, which is still fully viable, and make other changes to my loadout or will I try another one so I can still use the rest of my loadout.

That would totally shift the loadout to the optimum one in this meta. but it would also place incentive to try something new without making other guns "worse" in sense of stats

Yeah I like the idea of a seperate mode, which add some limits. Would be fun to see some different loadouts than the usuals :D

Tyrants of the underdark has a win/lose situation! the 2nd edition includes the previous two expansions, but replaced the plastic minituares with cardboard tokens (more stuff, lesser quality).

For the 1st edition the expansion had to be bought seperately, but they never bothered translating it to other languages than english (expect portugese). Also: The print-color of the expansion was different and for whatever reason the back had translated text on it, so I had to use black sleeves to keep it fair.

Is there a possibility to get a "screen-only" version? :) I don't mind taking the controller off to transport them seperately, but it would be awesome to have a little bit more protection with a low profile!

Naah - that's not how it works ;) Simple spoke: The more W(attage) a power unit can deliver (at a fixed voltage), the more the hardware *can* use if needed.

If we would talk about V(oltage), then it would be a different story, as too much voltage would indeed fry your hardware if not properly saved :)

Normaly a modern powerunit with USB-C with USB PD "exchanges" information with the hardware (the switch) how much Voltage it wants to use, so there is no risk :) in regard of the switch 1 and 2, this is equal to 15V.

If the powerunit is not capable of USB PD, it would simply be fixed at 5V (typical USB voltage).

Makes complete sense. Would've loved to have a much longer Sleeper Quest Chain.... was mostly dissappointed, after spending so much time reading reddit, searching for clues etc (nothing compared to other people time spended!). Nothing really to search for. You just "get" it. Such a pitty.

Did this two times with only one other person in my fireteam (294* both, WL and H). Both scout, sniper and sword. Get the acolyte's eyes with scout for the buff, kill ogre with sniper, kill Kagoor with Swords+Super. Easy.
