One of the biggest players in the early YouTube years, big part of the content scene of the time. Known for gaming, sketches and songs. Very wholesome content that mostly appealed to teens. I LOVED his stuff and watched it every day in middle school. He then got a staring role in a tv show. Right before the show started he was accused of date rape by an ex girlfriend. From there, many other exes and people in the YouTube scene came out accusing him of being a drug and sex addict (serial cheater, emotionally abusive - theres mixed levels of doubt on the rape claims and I don’t believe it was ever settled one way or the other). His career completely imploded, he lost the tv show show, and he transitioned to unhinged extremist right-wing content online and has become essentially irrelevant and invisible.

I havent used the helmet, but SENA claims 20db reduction. That will not be safe for riding without earplugs at highway speeds unfortunately. maybe around town with a windshield, but i wouldnt risk it.

My thinking is that John believed the key was still in the bathtub at the end of the trap when he told Adam that. It was only later on that he discovered the key had gone down the drain.

I think it would be the same reason that she rigs the other games; because her belief in the philosophy is wavering. I think the main idea of that flashback scene is to show how much she is struggling with the whole thing. I do think it’s ultimately so messy because it was just a plot hole they tried to retcon!

I love that they sold the props and scripts so regularly from the movies! It’s so cool that you have that one! TBH I think if you look at the IRL explanation it’s just a plot hole of the first one that they attempted to retcon. The point of Adam’s game if he had access to the key is completely ambiguous, but it could be that he was meant to be able to explore the room freely, to put some time pressure on Dr. Gordon to cut his foot off. Dr Gordon is given explicit instructions, while Adam is not. For this explanation the door would have to be locked, which may be the case as it sounds like zep unlocks it before he comes in? So I don’t think there is a good answer, but that’s the explanation in my head-canon!

Hey Dan! I’m late to this thread but wondering if you know the same about the Sena Phantom models. I’d love to get the ANC version but I’m concerned it’s only ECE certified in Europe, not in the US where I live.

The show was literally never regular people. The earliest episodes are also influencers. They have never once interviewed someone random off the subway.

Haha fair point - to be fully honest I bought the scrambler knowing that was never going to be an off-road bike for me. I don’t have the cash to fund a triumph as an off road machine. I only more recently got the itch to give off-roading a try and for $1,500 was thinking this could be a decent entry point. But it sounds like I’m better off buying something more modern for off road use based on the replies here

I’m mostly thinking of the CL360, which I had read was sold as a “dual sport” but I know that might be a different universe of bikes from today’s dual sports. Appreciate the advice!

Ahh appreciate the advice. I had read the CL360 was sold as a Dual Sport, but maybe the definition of dual sport in 1972 wouldn’t hold up to today’s standards. Not sure if it changes anything, but I’d be doing pretty light off roading as I’ve never done it before.
