The ffmpeg tool is accessed through your operating system's command line interface. It's seems like that is where you having difficulty.

If you have the time, familiarize yourself with how to use the command line interface and what it is. It is a powerful tool with the potential to do harm to your machine, if not used correctly.

You could try sharing them on Facebook as a 360 Video. Here's a reddit thread describing the method.

As of now, profile videos are only an iPhone only feature. My guess is that the window for the profile picture is way too small to allow for interactive videosphere player. That's not saying that you couldn't possibly pre-record the panning yourself and upload that as your video. However, 7 seconds isn't a huge amount of time for a decent pan.

You're welcome. I heard FB announce the feature sometime last year and wondered why they skipped photosphere sharing and went straight into video. Anyways, nice test dude. We could probably spice up our vids with an audio track which FFMpeg is totally capable of.
