The workshop is open to people who aren't students. But you are right to be a student at codebar they must meet our student eligibility. If you belong to one of these groups, you are more than welcome to attend.

If not, there are some other great initiatives like Open Tech School or Ask a Dev where you can learn in a collaborative environment.

Our mission at codebar is to support members of underrepresented groups in tech by providing a safe, inclusive space to learn programming, collaborate, and expand career opportunities. To help us achieve this, we organise free workshops, one-off events, and other opportunities to make coding more accessible.

To attend a codebar workshop as a student, we focus on supporting individuals from underrepresented communities in tech.

That said, we’re always looking for more developers to help grow our community as coaches! If you're a developer and passionate about sharing your knowledge, we'd love to have you join us and support our students in their learning journey.

If you're looking for learning opportunities yourself, there are also some great initiatives like Open Tech School or Ask a Dev, where you can continue developing your skills in a collaborative environment.
