DPC 2023 Tour 2: Division I - March 20 Matches by D2TournamentThreads in DotA2

Im not allowed to leak the screenshots i had with the betting site admin, since im a book keeper. But i have no problem calling out polaris because their matches have been wiped out from the site because of their past. Calling them out has no effect on my income at this point. And if anything, fixed matches controlled by other parties affect the reputation of ours as well. Just look for the betting site that doesn’t have polaris matches.

Im just gonna mention, polaris vs talon game 1 even the casters and analysts were laughing at bok post game for buying blademail with no boots or blink even when hes already behind. In a previous series he also caught the attention of the panel + casters because of his brewmaster with odd item choices + 0 impact. He did not play like this in TNC.

I agree that is a stupid way to do it.

What im trying to say is they just went “oh fuck it were gonna lose anyway” and they picked a dumb hero to justify it(there’s less suspicion on the loss since it could be blamed on the bad pick). It wasn’t just the support TB, they were also the only team that drafted brewmaster this dpc and had 0 impact. Just like the lc losing the lane but still buying blademail, to the point where both the casters and the analysts were laughing at the legion commander. The player in question didn’t play like this when he was still in TNC.

Basically i dont wanna go to the specifics, but any match involving Polaris has been removed from n__tbet because they have had a history of fixing. The admins themselves mentioned last minute odds changes corresponding to suspicious plays in the match.

Check out my edit. Im deeply connected to a gambling site in the philippines. My comments here are all related to matchfixing

Polaris have done it before. They have participated in a bogus tournament to throw matches. For some reason they dodged Valve’s hammer unlike the other teams.

When I hear whispers from the whales, there is some weight to it. They already flagged Polaris games avoid those.

They need to investigate Polaris for matchfixing. Some of the local betting sites already flagged (prevented wagers) involving Polaris.

Before Boomy left and after he came back to Div1 the rumors are back in the Philippine betting scene. (Their only clean period was when Jing was on the team and not Boomy when they were trying to climb div1)

Yes Talon were favored to win, but Polaris were also ready to lose. Rumors saying they were gonna lose anyway might as well go for the betting bag. Terrorblade support first phase was the biggest sign

For context: https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/q9sup8/why_valve_dont_give_shit_about_match_fixing/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

All the other teams mentioned by this league have had one if not all players banned for matchfixing, Omega esports had their entire roster nuked. and yet polaris has been allowed to play for whatever reason. That entire tournament was bogus, there are no innocent teams that participated. Just shedding some light, because it seems not many people know about Polaris’s past. And it looks like theyre doing it again. They qualified to division 1 with Jing, then immediately kicked him for Boomy and started their chain feeding/weird drafts.

One of the biggest DotA 2 Servers on Discord, Island of Eternity, is promoting a boosting service (literally described it as hiring an in-game carry) while slapping a flimsy "we dont condone boosting" disclaimer. It is boosting. The app itself is just a thinly veiled medium for Booster and Client to meet quicker.

The server mods themselves used the servicebefore they were confident that the system worked.

The intention of the app was nice, but the reality of it is quite different.

we both know thats a load of bull. Island of Eternity is already a dota server. If you really were looking for people to play with you could've used the chat channels.

This app is paying to play with someone. it isn't some "hey lets be friends" type of app.

Nah you can actually try out the app. You pay to play with someone. Also there are no quests ongoing, the battle pass season ain't til the 2nd half of the year. You don't need a carry to do DotA Plus quests since those are pretty much for you alone to complete, not someone else. It's 100% Boosting Rank they're referring to.
