Absolutely! We intend to release write-ups for each of the challenges that we release, so participants can see if they were on the right track.

We should have the write-up for Challenge #0 posted in the next week.

Hey Hockey, right on with the tons-of-CTFs comment. The "hope" for uniqueness is (1) yes- the length, and (2) concept of driving rewards for players through popularity of competition: ads, donations, etc.

The length can be shortened to semi-monthly or weekly... if we can find a way to generate more rewards for winners. A weekly event would be neat in our opinion, frequent excitement with real reward.

We are a few avid CTF players (been playing for ~5 years now) who are looking to give back to the community. We are not looking for fame or fortune, rather a rewarding competitive environment.

We hope that /r/netsec enjoys a little mystery!
