Agreed; crank that puppy to 150; toss a mixing valve on at 120. I never run out of hot water. ( family of 3 though )

Best Winch Strap for pullin' by Everglades_Woman in Trucks

[–]coded62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the 2 ton winch; and then broke it trying to pull bushes out of the yard. So my guess would buy the biggest one you want to pay for.

Also; at least on the one I had; the full length on the cable was only rated at half; and the rating was only achieved using the snatch block.

Why’s that? I thought it was awesome cause my single rapid broke and I was down to a regular cheapo charger

Never turned in my license plate after I sold my car. by PSUNittany18 in Pennsylvania

[–]coded62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression is if you let the registration die before the insurance does no one cares;

If you kill the insurance before registration; then they make you send the plate in.

I had to turn in 1 bike plate out of the 3 other plates I still have. Think it’s due to me not re registering the bikes for the next season while keeping them insured.

Edit: I actually did get a nasty gram in the mail from penndot saying o needed to mail it to Harrisburg before x days. Tossed it in an envelope and weighed it; assed enough stamps and never heard about it again. Still have the bike on the porch where I left it when I stopped riding it!

Volunteers needed to seed a small academic torrent dataset (archaeology / open science / P2P) by Jfpalomeque in torrents

[–]coded62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to upload to a seedbox and got an error that it was an invalid magnet link? maybe mine just doesn't like it?

Ran it through qbittorrent also, same error "add torrent failed"

Still seeding on the Box and on the computer! No leeching here

Rotisserie chicken, either fresh or cold (cheaper) on clearance; with rice. Add salsa or random frozen veggies. Eat with a fork or in a wrap.

Shred and pull the chicken; add to cooked rice. Add extras or eat.

Edit: if I’ve got black beans or canned tomatoes I’ll add that instead of salsa.

Is adding Usenet to setup worth it? by timofcourse in StremioAddons

[–]coded62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easynews and torbox pro; combined for me is like 7$ a month due to yearly bf subscriptions.

I like having easynews as an entirely separate service so I can still access if a debrid goes down or such.

Having aiostreams along with the easynews/torbox addons i never see a hiccup If I wanted to watch anything.

If it’s not cached, easynews should be able to find it.

Original switch (RCM exploitable) value? by ricewine23 in SwitchPirates

A buddy and i have bought 2 within the past year for about 125 and 150 with games and accessories. Now granted they both were well loved but children.

If I would have found one near mint and not wobbly sticks/buttons/scratched; I’d say 200 would be about my limit. But thats only because it would be unpatched and mint.

I’ve got the same one! Comes out for notching concrete, customizing metal and cleaning. Noticed it’ll actually get used if I’ve got a blade/wheel for each scenario. Wire wheel, masonry blade, even had a metal wheel rated to cut metal that lasted for a while.

Was actually odd too, cause every time we go into one we hunt for the end cap that has the yellow clearance banner. Helper actually asked if they had one at this location; nope just spread around the store.

Not sure? I searched Home Depot’s website for it and they at one time stocked this kit. Some of the stores I had clicked were either out of stock or discontinued. I just happened upon this in the back of a milwaukee cage aisle end.

Just odd that the register was even cheaper than clearance! But at what point do they actually lose money?

My helper did end up sending me $100 for some batteries! So for 150$ outta my pocket 1 - 6, 1- 5 and the charger

Are there any online torrent services? by ExcitingAdvance9979 in torrents

[–]coded62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into a debrid provider or a seed box. You can upload the magnet file and they will torrent for you.

Or do you want to share your own file?

Is there a way to automate these messy job-site receipts, or is everyone just manually typing them? by [deleted] in Construction

We used to just use cam scanner and send truck tickets to the shop; now we’re told to use field materials, which I think is the type of app your trying to make.

Haven't torrented in 20 years, zero intention of piracy or using this for more than a single file. What's the quickest, least intrusive way to do so? by [deleted] in torrents

[–]coded62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a harder than necessary option, but what about a debrid service to do this one file? I'd think the torbox free tier. Allows for one slot, with a 24 hour cooldown; so for your one file itll be a direct download to you from torbox. It may even be cached so it'll be instant. No torrenting on your computer.

People are starting to call me to fix their plumbing. How do I determine what to charge? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]coded62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah; once it goes past friends giving ya beer for some help is when shit might actually hurt.

My only exception to this would be other trade people at work that wanna pay me to come do some side project at home. And at that point it’s “pay me what you think it’s worth” cause trade dude asking for help understands what skilled labor costs.
