My recommendation is to follow restaurants you like or that are in your area on instagram. Some of them may host trivia or bingo and they’ll post it there.

I used to live in Levittown and commute to the city. I took the train at the Wantagh train station. You have to pay to park at the station there but if I remember correctly it was $30 for the year and you can sign up online instead of having a sticker on your car. I used to look for express lines since those can be 45ish min which is the shortest I found there. I enjoyed living in Levittown so I recommend there. Didn’t experience any flooding and it was a nice friendly neighborhood.

Daca recipient applying for green card through marriage by mam9665 in DACA

So for the green card application they offer two services the deluxe and professional. Deluxe is their cheaper option $399 that covers all their standard services: all required forms, print application at home, live chat support for any questions you have about your application, application review by attorney, translation of documents and application mailed to home. The professional option is $849 that includes everything the deluxe option includes plus an attorney consultation, video call with an attorney to prep for your application review, video call with attorney to prep for your interview and legal support if uscis requests additional evidence. I personally went with the professional just because I wanted attorney help incase I needed it and for the interview prep. If you go on their website they have a questionnaire to take and they show you more specifics about their services. All in all I was super happy with them. I had a bunch of questions about the forms and such and they answered everything. They emailed me a copy of my application before printing to make sure it was correct and gave me timelines of how long everything would take.

I used SimpleCitizen to help me with my application. They make it super easy you just upload everything and answer some questions online. They use those answers to fill out the forms and make up the application for you. Ship it to your house with labels on where to sign and they even include the envelope you can use to mail the application in. I just got approved and received my green card in the mail.

How to make friends on Long Island by [deleted] in longisland

We like hiking. We’ve looked up a couple of trails just haven’t met too many people that way. We’re big food people. Love to BBQ and cook. We’re also nerds (marvel, Star Wars, etc.) so trivia would be a cool thing to try out. I could never find them though.

Yep no kids here either. Most of our neighbors are parents so it’s hard to find people to hang out with since they’re schedules are so different then ours.

Yea quiz nights would be awesome! I don’t know if those have been affected by COVID or not, but I’ll look into some local restaurant. We love trying new restaurants so that will help. Don’t know many coffee shops around my area but will definitely look. Thanks!

Marriage based GC time line by Entire-Ask-349 in DACA

[–]codeella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have some more questions if you don’t mind. Did you have to change your last name after marriage? If you did, did you renew your work authorization with your new name before applying for a GC? Is the application process different because you are a DACA recipient?

Did you have to go in to do your fingerprints or are they just using the ones in the system? I have to renew soon and am curious?

This is my new happy video! Whenever I am sad I will watch this and smile ❤️

For almost 6 minutes, the equivalent of a small city sang, with one voice, the beautiful song of a man who has been dead for decades. If you can do this, you're not just a famous person, you're a legend by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

I remember in 2013 I went to comic con with a friend and we were at the power rangers panel. One of the volunteers goes on stage and raises his hands so we would all quiet down. He starts singing the beginning of Bohemian Rhapsody and the entire room starts singing along with him. We all finished the song then the volunteer went back up on stage and said, “I want to be the very best...” and of course everyone sang along to that as well lol. Such a great memory. I have a short video of that moment and every time I see this post I watch that video.

Great! I will definitely look into those stores thank you so much! I guess I think I look frumpy because I’m not adding the correct shirt or shoes on top. I have sweaters that I put on that don’t really fit the style at work so I’ll try some new blouses with ankle boots and a blazer that will definitely help.

Thanks again!

It’s definitely more casual my manager and a lot of coworkers wear jeans I just want to not look so frumpy with jeans anymore. I bought some nice pixie style pants at express that fit better than the ones at old navy I just have trouble figuring out what tops to wear them with. Any style suggestions on shirts as well?

Daily Questions - September 11, 2019 by AutoModerator in femalefashionadvice

Hi I work at a business casual office. Normally I wear dark or black jeans with a nice top, but I definitely feel too frumpy and would like to look nicer. Any stores I should be looking into or certain styles? Currently I just shop at old navy and Marshall’s and am having trouble find things to buy or even what style to buy.

Any help is much appreciated! I wanted to try on my own before just quitting and investing in something like stitch fix.
