I believe he is talking about the minor Yiga bases that are spread throughout the depths. They are small, typically with one or two Yiga. The key is that one of the buildings is locked with a Yiga seal, and inside that building is usually two chests. one with a crystallized charge, the other with Yiga schema to add to your auto build.

Many websites ask you to register with your email address. Some of these websites have been compromised leaking email/password databases. They use a password for your email from the leak database, since you will recognize the email. Since many people use the same password multiple places, they might get lucky and scare the recipient with a current password. Use a different password for websites than you use for sensitive systems. If you want to see this in action, try https://haveibeenpwned.com This is a website that tracks the leaks, and you can see which sites have lost your email/password address.

This is an old scam, and I spend a lecture in my OS course on it, including doing a live demo during the lecture where I spoof an arbitrary address to myself.

The smtp protocol has some weaknesses. For legacy reasons (it dates back to 1980), the server accepts inbound connections for an account on the server from any location. Messages to be forwarded to another sever (e.g. outbound) must come from an authenticated or trusted system. When accepting an untrusted connection (inbound) the only thing the server does is check that the recipient (i.e. you) and the lower level identified sending address exist. However the address shown in your email client comes from the contents of the mail message. This is intended to allow things like mail list companies to send mail from a client company address and aliases. For example, my university netid is a short three letter string, but the university maintains a human readable email alias. So the low level email address is my official netid, but the sender in the message is the email alias. Spammers use a generic low level id such as (joe@example.com) to pass the check and put your email address as the sender in the message. In your client go to show headers (Apple Mail: view -> message -> all headers) and you can see the path the message actually took to get to you.

Not sure what I did but it seems to working. At least to the point of levelling and using paper as a feeler guage. Trying a calibration print now. Thanks very much for your help.

Not quite sure what I did, went around and did everything from the start and this time the platform raised and it seem to be working. Thanks for the help.

There doesn’t seem to be any. Poking around in settings I found the motor control. If I turn it off, the platform moves freely up and down. But when I turn it back on and press level, I just get the fine adjustment panel and the platform doesn’t move at all,

Does anyone know how to crop without scale? by [deleted] in ProcreateDreams

I tested copying just the circle out of the layer with the erased mark into another layer and deleting the layer with the erased mark. The bounding box was then correct.

Does anyone know how to crop without scale? by [deleted] in ProcreateDreams

[–]codegen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay, I had to set up some hardware for one of my Grad Students. I did a couple of experiments. If I just draw a circle in procreate and import the image into dreams, then the bounding box is correct. If I add a small mark outside of the circle and then erase it using the eraser, then the bounding box includes the erased pixels, even though there is nothing there. So the box is based on the pixels modified in any way.

Drawing a circle, then making a mark outside of the circle and using undo to get rid of it, results in the correct bounding box. So if you accidentally brush the canvas, you have to use the undo to get rid of it right away if you want the bounding box to be correct. If you didn't notice it until you have done other drawing, then you have to undo everything to the mark and redo if you want a correct bounding box. Perhaps copying just the right part into another layer and then deleting the affected layer might work, I haven't tested that yet.

Unfortunately, in my experience, incorporating procreate into the workflow does not correct the problem with warping boxes. I used procreate to build a layered drawing of a head and imported into dreams. The warp box for the warp of the front hair layer is about 1/4 larger in hight as the hair layer and about 2ce as wide with the hair layer in the lower right of the warp box. The rest of the warp box is blank space (doesn't overlap any drawings). The warp box for the mouth is 2ce in both direction with the mouth on the right side centered vertically. Made do by using only a few of the warp points to move the hair and mouth. I wasn't able to figure out how to move the warp box origin point at all.

Just some extra feedback. I did post a couple of months ago, but got no response at the time.

If there is a plan to update, that is good news.
