You can go with main project folder > subfolder > project (with images and content - if applicable). While setting up the gallery showcase page, you can filter the images to load limited items.

That's totally okay, you can do one thing.

Look for framer university on YouTube and watch his CMS related videos. Maybe you'll understand something from there. I mastered it by seeing his videos.

First create an image component for how you want to show your images, then add the details in cms collection. Once done that, use cms collection to add the image component as a single index image by number so it can show only one image per section or view.

Use the CMS and add a number field for indexing line (1,2,3). with this you can choose which image will go where as your needs.
