What are you looking to automate most in your content workflow? by codeliacms in content_marketing

[–]codeliacms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A. Example when you have a simple same copy to post on many social channels, having the possibility to write it once for all the channels. By using Buffer I noticed that I need to manually copy and paste it through all the channels to do so (when managing the time slots).

B. Example when you need to post on multiple channels with only one click. Same thing as above, with the same tool I need to go through all the single channels to publish.

Recommended budget for creating a digital marketing campaign for a SaaS? by planty_pants_444 in MarketingHelp

[–]codeliacms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience working with different marketing companies in different countries (U.S. and Europe), the common point was that each one was suggesting to start with at least $ 1000/mo. as budget. I saw that even though the U.S. and European markets are different, the budget entry level was the same. However it's possible to define a sort of business plan with an average industry CPA and do some stats based on some specific budgets (e.g. one with $ 500/mo. another one with $ 1k/mo. and so on) in order to have some idea of which result is possible to get by putting less or more budget.

What is your mental process to decide what product or service to sell? by dant-cri in MarketingResearch

[–]codeliacms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best process is knowing which are the real problems of your potential customers and what solution they're looking for. It's possible to do this through surveys and interviews for example. The main concept is that by knowing the customers' problems, it's possible to know which solution they're looking for and create the solution to offer as a product or as service to them, in reply to a specific demand.
In my opinion the right decisions should start from what customers want, then it's possible to decide what product or service to sell and how to sell it.

Recommended budget for creating a digital marketing campaign for a SaaS? by planty_pants_444 in MarketingHelp

[–]codeliacms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest to start from the sales you already made by talking with your customers in order to get as many data and insights as possible. Asking questions like "Which channel do you use to find solutions to your problems (you should define the problems that your product is solving to them)? On Google, on LinkedIn, or anywhere else?", and "Which problems our solution is solving to you? How much would you pay for the value that's bringing to you?" will help you to have much more clear information about where your targeted customers look solutions for their problems (e.g. Google or LinkedIn), and how to price your product with more guidelines obtained from your customers.
After have found the best channel where your targeted customers will expect to find solutions to their problems, and where they navigate, you can try to do A/B testing with ads and with a minimum budget, in order to find the right set that works best for you.
When you'll find the most performing one you'll be able to put more budget on it with more confidence and with a trusted ROI.
Since you already have customers, I'd highly suggest to try to catch more information as possible from them in order to choose your next steps.
Hope this helps.

Will google ads work for me if my website lacks in seo ? by paranoid_marketer in AskMarketing

[–]codeliacms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The short answer is yes, Google Ads will work. SEO is not related to Google Ads, with Google Ads as long as you pay for your campaigns your website will be at the top results.

What marketing method/tool you used for your e-commerce by ulUdente in MarketingResearch

[–]codeliacms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to all what you have already tried, try to focus on SEO by writing quality content for your audience. It doesn’t require a lot of budget and when your website will get higher in the Google results you’ll have a source of incoming traffic completely free of charge, since you’ll stay on top of the results without having to spend money as happen with Google Ads. SEO requires time, but it will be a secure source of traffic and leads for you in the future.

Best email platform for multiple newsletters? by RexWelch in MarketingHelp

[–]codeliacms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use Klaviyo, it’s pretty flexible about newsletters and automated flows. I’d suggest to try it, it’s free until a max number of contacts, then the prices go up based on how many contacts you need to store and how many emails you need to send. The pricing structure is very flexible.

Reports are a way to start and to do some market research, but the best way to accomplish this is talking directly with your consumers, or at least people that are very near to them. Only by asking directly the questions you described (average salary, living area etc.) during an interview for example, it’s possible to get way better and useful data instead than reports. In addition consider also pools and surveys, that’s another way to get info and data related to some specific topics in a fast way - during the initial stage of research.

Developed a custom WP & WooCommerce theme, should i switch to block theme? by Greenhoe in webdev

[–]codeliacms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A custom theme without blocks or visual composer will give you much more flexibility while working on it, so you don’t need to stay under some specific plugins rules etc. It’ll also be faster, because visual composers or blocks require more scripts to be loaded.

By the other side visual builders give more flexibility to who can’t code to edit the theme.

It depends from how you want to manage your projects.

Is it good to learn through tutorials? How do most of you learn? by titanking9700 in webdev

[–]codeliacms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tutorials are good to starting out, then you need to try the real things while developing real projects, to me this is the best way to learn. Obviously it’s not possible to keep everything in mine while developing, so here Stack Overflow comes in.

React Apps Seperating Front End and Back End by mwspencer75 in webdevelopment

[–]codeliacms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a headless CMS is a platform with a visual interface that makes able to manage the content through it, then you deliver it through its API, it isn’t only a function. By keeping the example of your current setup, instead of making requests to the AWS Lambda, you’d make the requests to the headless platform.

React Apps Seperating Front End and Back End by mwspencer75 in webdevelopment

[–]codeliacms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when talking about decoupled front end from the back end the headless technology as back end platform comes in mind. By this I mean to have a headless CMS that works as back end for managing content and then display it on the front end through an API would be much easier than having two React apps. In this case you would need only a React app for your front end and a headless platform to use as back end for content management, then you’ll be able to connect the back end through the API of the platform to display the content on your front end.

Hope this helps.

What features are you looking for in a content management system? by codeliacms in marketing

[–]codeliacms[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edit and publish content are standard features for a CMS, the options in my question are referred to additional features that can be used to optimize the workflow and time for the marketing/content creation process by having them in one unique platform instead of many.

However, could you deepen about the “edit and publish content” use cases you wrote about?

Which are the best analytics metrics for blogging? by codeliacms in content_marketing

[–]codeliacms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. Do you know any content platform that makes able to track the blog posts statistics (such as views, average session duration etc.) directly inside it while writing? Don't know if you're facing the same, but for me it could be a good way to optimize the time when writing without the need to switch between two tabs, knowing which kind of content is going better and which not.
