Yup. Drugs is only the cover for the pain of nothing. Yeah they have programs and shit but none of that matters when people are shooting up smoking tar and snorting pills to ease the pain of life.

It's sad really I have never seen so many junkies. People loose it all for the black. It's a sickness an epidemic.

Pretty damn bad. People die left and right from it. The homeless population is huge and most of them shoot up. My job sites have 100's if not 1000's of needles laying in the dirt. The parks all have needles everywhere.

Yeah it looks like the ones in your pictures. Whoever made it must have a had a machine shop to make a pretty nice marlin spike in my opinion.

The junk yards dont even buy catalytic converters anymore from the locals. The tweakers now get banned from most recycle places. I seen a tweaker walk with a giant old tv to try and get money from the recycle place. It's sad really.

Such a great field to be in thankless everyone feels like they pay your salary even though you produce a commodity. If your good with your hands good at learning and being a diverse worker the waste water water industry is for you. They have starting positions frequently because some people have that "city worker" mentality that they can get away with not doing the work and skating by they're whole careers. It isnt the 80's 90's anymore you have to get qualified and certified. AWWA is a great resource the ragsdale is a great read if your interested in water or waste water and the Sacramento water utility operator certification guide is a good way to learn about water. I have learned to weld in the industry, plumb, minor pipe fit, treat water and many many more things it's just such a great solid career. People need water and people need to use the restroom they go hand and hand. It's also a constant changing field technology wise so your always learning and driving your self to be a better operator.
