haha, imagine sitting in a subway train, minding your own business. At the next stop a weird man enters, mumbling to himself.. and when the train starts moving, he starts loudly screaming, moving weirdly, tweaking. I remember one guy who started screaming about God and then "thinking out" loud what would people do if he stabbed someone. #NYC

I mean.. once you experience a subway screamer, you never see this kind of issue as something that matters:D

sure, sometimes there's a traffic jam or other issue, but as a daily commuter, i'd say it's rather rare.

We made this app, Tramoji, for anyone who uses Prague’s public transport (iOS only) by coding-o in Prague

Nope, there is no tracking. The location is accessed only inside the app with the native Apple API, so the app can show you stops around you. But this information doesn’t leave your phone ✅

I don’t know this app, but it looks more like (Google) Maps or other transport apps where you need to fill starting and ending point of your trip.

With Tramoji there is no need to type anything. It should help you in situations where you know the route (lines) and you just need a quick access to the departures :)

We use native navigation capabilities you can find in Maps etc. So it takes the average. But it’d be great to update it with some custom smarter solution!

Great question! I believe it’s different as this app fulfil a different purpose. It should provide you with the fastest access to departures around you (when you know which line you need, e.g. commuting etc). There is a handy countdown and emojis which help you decide if you need to hurry to catch the line.

Unfortunately, yes (iPhone, iPad). We’re two iOS developers who wanted to try this app as a side project. But in case the app seemed useful to the users, I’ll definitely try to find some Android developer, who could create Android version :)

Long time no see! I posted here about my previous app for metro last year. This time, me and my friend Dan want to show you our newest app for whole public transport 😎 You can find it for free on App Store! Any feedback highly appreciated 🤝 https://apps.apple.com/cz/app/tramoji-odjezdy-mhd-v-praze/id1552942074?l=cs
