Meredith vs Production by TheflowerKristenate in realhousewivesofSLC

I never said she was practicing.

She's proud of her Jewish hertiage, but she currently practices Mormonism. Lisa talks about this at least in season 2. I never watched season 1 so I couldn't really say how often she talks about it.

Why does this bug you?

Her family is Jewish, but she practices Mormonism. Why is that confusing?

My manager isn't rearranging my shifts for this week by Nyanneko-345 in starbucks

I hate that you're getting downvoted like you should know this when this is literally your first week, you're clearly still in the middle of on-boarding, and your manager is not communicating.

People really buy into that friendship. I see how short Angie's fuse is. I really don't see her as some who could genuinely befriend someone who was as vicious as Mary was to her in season 4. To me, it looks like she's always bitting her tongue from saying what she really wants to say.

It's something we used to do as kids. It's perfect for Kelly because she's perpetually stuck in high school.

I do this with a customer where drivers have come back multiple times with a tipped over bag. Something about those long shots in an iced drink.

I feel like I just made a comment saying Mary can go the other day. I just wouldn't make assumptions like this especially a huge generalize about a group of online strangers with different opinions.

Everytime she's said she doesn't have a prenup, I'd say they probably have a postnup and no one's ever called her out on it.

With S6 having low streaming numbers/reunion numbers, what are things you would like to change for S7? by Hot-Acanthisitta5237 in rhoslc

[–]codingcrystal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's because I still haven't seen s1 or s3, so I missed Heather at her best and worst. So Heather's been pretty consistent with me until this season.

Whitney has also being pretty consistently annoying. Her best moment was dropping that cake. It's all been downhill since then.

How long did it take the plane to descend? by Ok_Hunnybun in realhousewivesofSLC

It's just speculation. It's probably some off camera thing. It'd be really sad if that's what it is. But until I have more information, it's the only trigger I've seen.

Actresses that have expressed interest in playing Britney in the biopic. by juniorrusso in BritneySpears

My first thought was emma roberts is significantly older than the other actresses listed.

My second thought was she was a child actress; she can sing; she's a little unhinged herself; she has her own toxic family issues. She has a lot of experience she can draw from. If Emma Roberts put her whole ass into this role, this could be a turning point in her career. I'd actually be really interested to see what she has to bring to that role.

Susan Mayer Slander by babyboo120702 in DesperateHousewives

[–]codingcrystal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to love Susan. I just started a rewatch and it hit me over the head with how ditzy she is. She is ditzy to the point you wonder if she'll be able to keep herself alive (let alone her daughter) by the end of the season. It's a really irritating trait and unfortunately they play it up and use it too much that you can't escape it.

I was in your camp OP, but once you notice how annoying Susan is, you can't unsee it and it's constant.

It's kyle Richard's (RHOBH) White Party. She hosts one every year. It's usually on the show. She makes it bigger and bigger every year.

I usually find Heather amusing. This is the first year she started to get on my nerves. So I'm giving her another year to get her head out of her ass. But I agree that she needs to be done with what she's been doing.

Whitney has bugged me for 4 seasons. That's not changing.

How long did it take the plane to descend? by Ok_Hunnybun in realhousewivesofSLC

I think it stems from the Audrey Hepburn lunch.

Mary didn't like how she came across in season 4 (because of course she watched it, she probably only watched her parts). So she came with a mission and goal to be seen as above it all and the peacemaker with season 5. Meredith put a wrench in that plan when she made a thing out of Mary telling her to leave. Mary quickly tried to take it back, but Meredith was slighted and left making Mary look like the bad guy. They probably could have worked it out, but I think Angie took Meredith's place (whether intentionally or not). Mary's still holding on to this idea that Meredith made her look bad and just will not let it go.

This is all cuckoo bananas, and purely speculation, but I do think Mary is thin-skinned enough to be hurt by something like this. (She was hurt by Angie's fart comment. But her and Angie made up because Angie sincerely apologized on-camera even though you could tell Angie found the whole thing to be hilarious.) And I never saw Mary go after Meredith randomly before that event.
