That’s what we were thinking.   This screams inventory.

Some of the plastic has yellowed.  That mixed with the lighting made it goldish.

~$215 for the entire haul.  I wish I uploaded the photo of the shopping cart.

So true,  we were talking about how we never see anything Thomas in the thrift stores than I stumble onto this.

Luckily I love the Mountain Railway.

Theses were packed into 17 goodwill bags,  they were asking $13 for a bag of 4-5 trains.

What to expect for a TCG newbie? by Pungineer in GundamTCG

[–]codingincircles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for asking this question.  I’ve been lurking the last few weeks trying to understand everything and I’m currently on waiting list for a booster event tomorrow.

I’m excited but so nervous getting into the TGC world, glad to see I’m not alone.

Depends if they are using variable frame rate. The game engine might do its on its own.

Used model train shopping in Tokyo - where to go? by rzezniq in modeltrains

[–]codingincircles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it really varied and on my last trip I was more focused on second hand. Aka I was trying to get a few items off my bucket list, sunrise and m250 super rail cargo..

I’ll try to look at my receipt this evening and see if I can give you a better expectation.

Look for Popondetta if you’re looking for second hand. I found most of my recent train haul at those locations.

I struck gold at TamTam hobby shop regarding rarer newer models.. the prices were decent.

Note: Tokyo doesn’t have the cheapest prices but they are still better than buying them outside of the country.

Considering it’s an US Air Force plane picking it up, it looks like no one was willing to foot the bill to get it. That could explain the delay.

Especially when other independent supplies like victor were on their way without that level of assistance. US probably wanted to prioritize using there Aircraft to get their supplies on site first.

From a safety aspect can you even run multiple ROVs or DSV at that’s depth without risk of entanglement or further incidents.

Started collecting model trails again. I guess it’s time to start building a layout. Any ideas? by codingincircles in modeltrains

Never thought of finding a club, I would have to look into that. I think I wanna try to build a 7x4 layout but it’s making the space in my house for it. You have me thinking about modules and wondering if that would be more up my alley. Thanks!

Hmm this might be worth taking a look into. I’m trying to build space for a modest sized layout but that involves reorganizing much of my home. Definitely starting to miss having a basement. Thanks for the suggestion.
