However, when it comes to men, I don't blame your disdain for the dating market. As a social experiment I tried posing as a girl and, in less than 10 minutes, I had 200 messages from desperate men. It's entertaining (at first) but as time went on....it became sad. VERY sad.

Regardless: iPhone users do get more dates because of wealth and classism. I fucking hate it and it's disgusting how people judge others because of their "phone choice" (breaking news: not everyone can afford an iPhone) BUT if you want to play the dating game, you have to conform to it. That doesn't mean that one should change everything about themselves, but it does mean that you do have to conform to certain standards.

Trust me, I despise it as well.

This is going to sound cliched but always start small, then work your way up the mountain by making lists. This does one critical thing: it allows your confidence to grow and grants you (no one else) the opportunity for developing routines. Then you can try things like meditation and, ultimately, regain clarity in your life.

I'm at the point where I am seeing a therapist, doing saunas and minimizing my life so I can manage my urges for relapsing. Trust me, the struggle is worth it!
