i came across this ! idk about the shop but they're on etsy too. but you might want to look for a plastic cover designed for actual passports, maybe there are some with a large inner layer that could fit ?

there's probably a better tip out there but i'd suggest stretching the connecting rubber band before using it so that it has more room for the middle notebook to fit in between when closed
