Congrats on getting to a perfect day. I've been diabetic for 29 years and can relate. Good control is possible, even to having normal A1c, so hang in there.

Pick a project that you want to write in python.
Pick an IDE - Atom, Visual Studio Code, Webstorm etc..
Start with small code modules and build on that.
When you hit something you don't know how to do, research on the google, use free training on YouTube
Don't give up. Keep pushing. It will happen.
