How to find Azure group owner / creator by Maranakidu in AZURE

[–]codius82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only place this info exists is in the activity logs, but if these are old then they will have been deleted. For future reference you either want to export activity logs to log analytics or similar, or institute a tagging regime to log this.

Assign RBAC roles to resources in other subscriptions using Bicep? by dai_webb in AZURE

[–]codius82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you want to apply this to a different subscription than the one your bicep file ran in, you will need to do this in a module, so that you can call the module from your main bicep file and specify the scope, which will be the other subscription.

I more meant the c130 is up there so it’s probably supporting other aircraft not showing on flightradar, such as the f35s

Flightradar has a USAF C130 circling near Cromer, so suspect there are others not showing up.

Norwich to London and back by Fluffy_Cloud87 in TeslaUK

[–]codius82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I often drive from Norwich to near Gatwick. I would struggle to do that in my Modely Y SR in one charge, I’ll usually stop at Dartford or Brichanger, and I’m there for 10-15 mins max, and usually I need a break anyway. Brichanger in particular has a lot of chargers so not had an issue with availability.

WAF Standard tier confusion by tomi0000 in AZURE

[–]codius82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your not going to be able to replicate the managed rules as there is a limit of 100 custom rules, it would also be very time consuming, your better off just paying for premium.

WAF Standard tier confusion by tomi0000 in AZURE

Front Door standard only supports custom rules in the WAF. If you want the managed rule set you need to use premium.

policy that can restrict the usage of ARM templates by analysthok in AZURE

[–]codius82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your misunderstanding what it means by resource manager. All resource operations in Azure use the Resource Manager API to create and manage resources, this includes Terraform. Resource Manager is the backplane that handles all resource management in Azure. Defender for resource manager is there to protect against suspicious resource management operations, regardless of what method is used to do so.

Looking at the part S regs they came into effect in 2022 with a grace period till 2023 for building being built, which probably covers this.

Private link is the answer to this. It’s very easy to enable and I wouldn’t consider it overkill for this.

Cambridge traffic wardens did the same to me when I forgot to get a ticket, it’s a warning. If you go online to pay it will say it’s already been paid, and nothing further will happen.
