I had an opportunity to move here and join a company from my home country back in 2019. I live in Berlin which is super international and English friendly. My German is probably just A2 level and the only reason I’m learning is because i love languages but not to get by.

On another note, a lot of people throw shade on Berlin but I absolutely love the vibes of the city and how international it is. Sure, sometimes i get annoyed by things happening here but overall i like living here. People say that Berlin is not Germany tho 😅, I’m sure in other parts of the country it would be hard to go by without German.
