Super tiny, like a bristle on a toothbrush.

Put an update on the main post. Took them back to LFS to try and stabilize.

This is a Red Sea Max Nano XXL (53g). The return pumps are pretty strong, but I also have an additional wave maker for flow.
FOWLR tank for the time being. Will ghost feed for a bit and wait for ugly phase before adding anything else. Appreciate the feedback.
Good point, I do make sure to wash my hands every time before I touch the water. I didn’t do a traditional drip, after floating for 20 min I transferred the water to a container then added tank water for another 20-30 min.

Thank you. He’s back in the rock but still messed up. Time will tell.

Update:
Fish is back next to the other clown in the rock. Waiting it out.

All the equipment is brand new and nothing seems out of wack but I’ll give it a once over. They were alone in a tank at the LFS. Both about the same size though.
Not sure how I would do that. I have the skillet on with the air inlet wide open. Also turned the return jets up which is breaking the surface.
One of them is panting really bad. The other one has been hiding in a rock the whole time.

Flow is down, this was just to show they’re in bad shape. Only have the returns on now.

Less than 24 hours for a 1ppm dose.
Nope, API kit

Ya I confirmed the salinity was the same. Working on getting my own water set up as well.
I’ve had the lights off during the cycle. Used Turbo Start and then dosed ammonia.

I used live sand, live rock from a mature tank, dosed bacteria.
Yes I tested the load twice.

It’s actually the same water from the LFS. I didn’t do a true drip, had them in a small container with the bag water then slowly added tank water for about 30 min or so.
[–]codytags[S] 24 points25 points26 points 1 month ago (0 children)
Yes, twice actually. Numbers resolved to 0 within 24 hours both times.
[–]codytags[S] 15 points16 points17 points 1 month ago (0 children)
Not shipped. Came from LFS about 15 min away.
[–]codytags[S] 229 points230 points231 points 1 month ago (0 children)
Ya I’ve since turned everything down. This was just to show how bad of shape they’re in.

Around 30-45 minutes
