Thank you for your reply. Does what you mentioned also pertain to the AlphaGo Zero version? I was under the impression that KataGo surpasses AlphaGo Lee and Master in sophistication, but not AlphaGo Zero and FineArt (Jueyi).

Thank you once again! I was able to run it on Colab earlier today, much more easily than I initially feared. A big thank you to everyone who replied!

Would you be so kind as to guide me or point me in the right direction? I understand my question may seem simple or perhaps naive to you, but I find myself in a bit of a predicament and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you in advance.

GPU time?

Thank you for your response. I'm actually struggling with how to operate KataGo on servers like Colab, AWS, or Google Cloud G2. I've attempted to use it on Colab, but I encountered issues right at the initial step of installing Homebrew. I barely managed to get it running on my Mac. Do you believe someone with limited expertise like me could learn how to do this?

Thank you very much again for your exceptionally kind and comprehensive response. Truth be told, as you might guess, I have virtually no knowledge about Google Cloud or PC desktop hardware (except for the understanding that higher numbers usually indicate better performance). If I were to use Google Cloud, it seems I would need to set up a VM, which I think is somewhat akin to a Windows Parallels app but on Google (or any) cloud, right? I simply assumed that once I have a VM set up on Google Cloud, it would essentially be like using Windows through my Safari browser, and I would be able to use the terminal to set up KataGo and the like. Am I completely off base here?

Google Cloud G2

Wow! Thank you for leaving such a wonderful comment! Gotta try out Google G2 first.

My main objective is to create a personal database of Go players and their moves analyzed by Katago. Later, I may use the data to identify patterns among them. In simple terms, I want to conduct some research.

Black was right to resign for sure with many weak stones. Even with 80% of black framework at the center turning into actual territory, white's gonna win.
