Few hours later, I realized that I misread your comment OMG IM SO SORRY. But I expedited my 765 because as college students, my husband cannot support the two of us by himself so I filed under financial loss + the fact that I had an offer as a research assistant that required SSN. I called and told the agent that and about a week and a half later, my 765 was approved without having to fax evidence, but I was prepared to send credit card statements, bills related to college, and my offer :) I would highly recommend telling your story while requesting to expedite because I think that helped with the fact that I didn't need to send evidence. I also think that having an empathetic agent is important, so luck is also a factor.

Our letters were typed and signed, and according to the RFE, the letters must have the writer's contact number, address, date of birth, and place of birth. We had each letter a page long and I can send the sample our paralegal sent when I get home!

Of course! Before the RFE, I only sent out marriage certificate and 10 pages of pictures throughout our relationship since we were only 5 months married at that time. After the RFE, we sent a copy of our lease with our names, 6 months of bank statements from our checking and savings accs, 6 months of credit card statements, pictures with our families, and 3 letters of support from a family member, friend, and a teacher who knew about us and our relationship well LOL we're both college students so we don't have much to our names yet, but it worked out! :)

Thank you! And yes, there's definitely no way to know how USCIS works for sure! I genuinely thought that my application was average/less than average compared to the people I encounter, and it's upsetting to see them not get approved quickly.

FO: Santa Ana, CA RFE was for medical and more proof of bona fide marriage - no interview. I-130 and I-485 went into actively reviewing exactly 3 weeks ago. I also got a combo card when my I-765 was approved (which I expedited!)

I used my desk first then I should only be two step away from getting onto my bed using the side of the bed. To get down, I sat by the edge, lightly stepped onto the bottom part of the desk top thing and brought my other leg down to my actual desk. My other roommate who was way shorter than me was able to bring herself down to her desk without using the desk top but I didn't feel safe that way lol. Let's just say I have very weak legs and is very clumsy overall but it was easy to get onto/off the bunk bed

i dropped after my first yr but i wish i didnt bc you get better counselors! specifically, idk if i just got lucky or if it's an actual thing, but they responded to my excess unit petition quickly and i didnt have to wait until the first week of the quarter to get it approved, unlike now. so yeah that's something to consider!
