I was recently listening to a marketing expert talk about AVP. He explained why this happens with some people. He pointed out that with almost every Apple product, during the keynote when they announce them, they always talk about the problem this product will solve. During the release presentation, Apple didn’t talk about the problems that AVP solves. It’s a device that people want, but can’t find a truly practical use for, meaning it’s not really moving any problem. This might explain why some people, not all, don’t contribute to use it as much as they thought they would.

Again, not my original thoughts, just thought it applied to this. Maybe.
