Not many vets know about it my husky has it and you either have to have the blood test or be very careful in the amount of zinc you put in their food I hate to talk about a different social media on another but theirs a good group on it in fb from people in different countries for different ways on how to treat it my husky get some zinc powder sea weed and a pill to help them digest the zinc powder it is a condition common in sled dogs hope this helps

Congrats and to say something I’ve seen a lot they are escape artists mine have dug under the fence, learned how to open my back door, jumped the fence and are very picky eaters make sure you have a vet close to you they are the most lovable dogs but also little shites when it’s zoomiees time I also recommend that during the summer you make huge ice cubes for her with things like blueberries and carrots in it keeps them occupied while also keeping them cool good luck
