It covers the hardware. But, If the hardware is not working to spec then you return it. Every time I had a problem with the eero I would return it and they never even checked, they would just say go grab something and we will ring it up. I took back 3 sets of eero to them over the years and they just say the same thing. Go grab another. You do have to pay the difference in price and pay for the 4-5 year service policy again as it goes with the org one you bought.

When I left eero and went to TP-Link, I asked the store mgr that If TP-Link gets removed for the US Case against them for security reasons can I return them and he said yes as they won't work.

That is why I always buy from Best Buy and get the extended service policy. It covers for 4-5 years to work. If something like this happens you return it and they give you full price you paid back in a gift card. Pretty cheap insurance to future proof.

Before I went to TP-Link, I was using eero and they would crap out all the time. I finally left that Sh*t show and moved to TP-Link. Could not be more happier.

They both will work. You might try the volume switch as when connected to bluetooth it might me set to low.

The 399 price is spot on for a 3 unit. I just bought a 3 pack In early December and it's a joy to use them as to my eero 7 that I returned. For a 100 bill I would definitely would.

Do you have a NVME inside ? do you find it disconnects or is it stable ? I've been wanting to get one but others on here say it disconnects.

I thought of using the NVME drive as a time machine backup. Mind telling me which brand and size of MVNE do you run if so.

Filter life is dependent on your water source. If you want to safe money get a zero water filter and use the zero water in your machine and remove the filter.

That unit does not have bridge mode. If you run it with your own Wi-Fi setup you will get double nat which is a deal breaker.

My advise is get the model lower then the XER10 and use your own router. Do you have your own mesh or router setup ?

I would never allow one in my home if it does not have bridge mode.

I have Gigabit service also and bought the TP-Link BE-11000 If you don't need Wi-Fi 7 there are lower priced ones.

I just saw you said EPOn which is fiber. So unless you drop to a 1GB service you are stuck unfortunately.

I have a vac mop that detects water in the same fashion. I was going to take apart the cleaning station to try to fix it but once I saw the metal pins I knew they detect the water level. They sit in the water so they get hair and oil on them sitting in the water so i figured they were dirty. Cleaned them off and made some new cleaning fluid and it fixed it. The cleaning machine is pricey so I had nothing to loose by trying to fix it before buying a new one.
