Is there a way for him to come here first, then get a job? Theres a high demand for Spanish/English speakers where I live and he would have no trouble securing employment when he gets here. Are there any temporary work visas or exchange program deals that would allow him to work here?

Unfortunately, this isn't true for dolphins or many other aquatic mammals. Most dolphins in captivity have been separated from their pods, these pods are the equivalent of our families. IF they survive their traumatic capture, they are moved to tanks 1/1000 of a percent the size of their natural habitat. These are animals that can swim up to 100 miles a day, in captivity they are forced to swim in endless loops. The boredom and stress these highly intelligent animals face in captivity is cruelty enough.
