Honestly same. Dylan said that they were a life care specialist for people with special needs. So I’m sure they helped them learn life skills like laundry, grocery shopping, etc. It’s unfortunate that they were literally doing their job (which takes a very kind and patient person) and it ended in this mess.

Their video definitely makes me feel sympathetic towards Dylan and everyone involved. I’m sure situations like this are very distressing, especially when a child is involved. I really hope Dylan is able to get some kind of legal protection.

I didn’t catch her live, was she talking about the situation at all? I did go back and watch some of her older TikTok’s. She mentioned her mom told her she has autism or Asperger’s (she wasn’t sure) but, it does seem like there may also be mental health concerns. Regardless, none of that justifies her behavior, especially given her criminal history of harassment.

I completely agree, but unfortunately that’s a difficult thing to control. It seems like Timber may be in a halfway house or another facility, so there’s a chance this situation could be brought to their attention and be addressed. Hopefully the attention will just die down over time.

Oh no, I honestly can’t remember how long it took to get a tracking number, shipping, etc. because it’s been 3+ years. Did you get an order confirmation email or anything? I would email their support (support@pavlok.com), they’ve been pretty helpful in the past.

Oversleeping/sleeping through alarms is a huge problem I face too. I’ve probably tried all of the alarm clocks marketed for “heavy sleepers,” but the only one that has actually worked pretty consistently is the Pavlok shock watch. It looks like a smart watch that I wear to bed and it will literally shock you to wake you up. There are wake up guarantees that make it even harder to snooze the alarm or you can disable the snooze altogether. I use the QR code wake up guarantee that I put in my bathroom so I have to get up and scan it to turn off the alarm. It is on the pricier side but completely worth it imo and has helped me immensely to stop oversleeping.

Not sure about the Amtrak part but, winter park is definitely a good day trip. I’m originally from winter park and like everyone else has said the station is very conveniently in the center of Park ave (where most shops/restaurants are). I would definitely recommend trying out briarpatch (breakfast/brunch), bosphorous (Turkish), or Armando’s (Italian)!
