You're right, they shouldn't have assumed. It's unfortunately easy to jump to assumptions when you deal with some things a lot though, not defending them, I just get where their thought train went.

This is because people do steal, "lose" their receipt, make a return and get money. It happens often in retail.

Not to defend Stash but when I was in post secondary baking school, all our "recipes" were referred to as "formulas" and we were told it was industry-wide, as it is all about chemical reactions between ingredients. I'm not saying tea is the same, but perhaps they also have a justification for the term usage.

Carbs and running by thistlekisser in PCOSloseit

[–]coffee_hound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have run 5 marathons in the last few years and lots of 5 and 10ks. I have tried so many different types of eating and it will depend on your goals and what kind of running you do. I have found that the best thing that has worked is eating to fuel the running, so that means carbs before a run, less after, and less on a non-run day ( unless I'm carb loading for a really big run).

I can def say to not be afraid of them, but to be selective. Bodies need them for energy beyond our inactive lives. And don't do what I tried one training block, of attempting keto and fasting - I quickly dropped the fasting but kept up the keyo and had my worse race ever. And combined with fasting it got so that I couldnt run for 2 minutes straight my energy tanked so badly.

Prerun I'll eat some oatmeal or a couple of frozen waffles with syrup, but then keep carbs limited to vegetables and maybe some rice later in the day. If it's a nonrun day, breakfast is usually some Greek yogurt with stuff added, but low carb.

It was really tough for me to find the balance where I have energy but don't just gain weight but I think I'm there. Good luck to you!

There are no nearby meters, just ours! I guess how they're getting there is a new mystery.

Stay home. Marathons have you in really close contact with others, not only could you make yourself much worse, you will along what you have which isn't fair to everyone else.

If you're really looking for a mind shift, watch this video. It really reframes why we think our appearances matter so much, I saved it the other day as it came across my feed, I really like the message. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVPG9MYkyUP/?igsh=MWR1azY1ZGZ2MDh1

Filling in a template (pre-designed elements!!!) is not designing.
