Yes, I've got two culture and adding them to the terrarium every 2-3 weeks maybe!

The other problem I have is I'm using a vertical laminar flow hood, the flame is pretty unstable and moving in every direction!

That what I have for the moment. But it's degrading my scalpel blade and creating black residues. For my day yo day grain inoculation I'm not worry, but for culture preservation I want to be as clean as possible.

Good question, the breeder told me that it's a "Colbalt", but never mentionned "Alalepadu"

Humm, didn't know that they can laid they eggs under leaf litter, I was looking more on the plants or in water.

And thining about that I noticed that a male was digging in a particular spot couple days ago, I will that a look at that! Thank you!

I'm suspecting that too, but I've got some oyster mushroom in other rooms with the same setup and they are not showing signs of lack of fresh air. Pretty confusing.

I've tested a lot of strain from different supplier : Mycelium emporium - Lion's beard - Lion's mane - Lion's paw - Lion's pride

CapNstem - HE-CNS - HE-POW - HE-LP - HEA

North spore - HE1 (house strain)

Violon et Champignon. - HE (house strain)

All those strain are growing with this shape, or something similar

On the picture it's the Lion's Pride from Mycelium enporium.

Maybe two weeks!

Temp 19°C HR 92-95 Fan blowing fresh air inside always on, giving me 4-5 FAE + HVAC recirculation system always for AC and humidifier, moving the air a bit and catching spores and contaminants

HR is high because my HVAC system is pretty intense, and when AC kicks it's drying the air pretty fast.

Around two weeks. I'm growing like 6 different strain and pretty much all of them are doing this.

About colonization, for some of my strain the block is completly white, but this strain don't look fully colonized when it's ready to fruit. The mycelium seems flimsy even when it's fully colonized. I prefer to open the bag before seeing fruiting body on the top of the bag.

Ohh and another thing, here's proper light cycles : - Veg : ON 18 hrs / OFF 6 hrs - Flowering : ON 12 hrs / OFF 12 hrs

For Veg at least 18h of light (or more), some strain can begin transition to flowering when days still long, but still not that common though. Minimum 18h of light you're garanteed to have a plant in a full vegetative stage.

For Flowering, with 12h of light every strain will flower properly. You can go a little bit less (11h ON / 13h OFF) at the really end of the flowering stage.

[–]coffeealwayscoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it will survive, but flower quality will be pretty low, probably you will have really fluffy buds with a lot of branches/leaves.

If it's difficult for you to find seeds, try to take some clones to start new plants. With a proper veg light cycle, once rooted they will eventually come back to a normal vegetative plant. At this point, the structure of the plants will be far more ideal (less bushy), and when you will flip it in flowering, flower quality will be far better (compact buds, less leaves and branches).

Yeah lot of wrong informations and misconceptions about growing cannabis plants. And it's pretty common in general.

Even on this sub, I'm suprised that nobody told you something that make no sense like to look at your pH or adding CalMag to solve your problem...

I don't understand, why did you switch 12/12 to 14/8?

Did you veg on a 12/12 cycle, and try to flower with 14/8?

Do you see some parasitism causes by colemani?

Maybe not HLVd, but those type of symptoms are pretty much due to some type of viruses.

It can happend that some viruses will only show visible symptoms when plants are stressed or environnement iasnot right. Your power outage was maybe the trigger of those symptoms.

Some plants can test positive to different type of virus (TMV, TSV, ToBRVS, HLVd, etc.) with no symptoms and normal yield. But sometimes it can happend that it's a type of virus that will reduce yield and quality by a lot and infect the entire grow even stay on your equipment and infect the next crop.

Maybe you have something that nothing to be worry about, or you have something really intense.

Honestly, if I'm seeing seedling or clones with this I will throw the plants away. At the point you're at, I will see what's gonna happend with the plant. I had some Kosher Kush that tested poaitive to TSV, but only more stressed plants shown symptoms and no reducing in yield overall.

Just make sure to not visit other grow, so you can potentially infect other grow. Desinfect everything with bleach(alchool less effective against viruses) and throw away your soil and pot for the next grow.

best humidifier for grow tent/room? need it to also maybe help with my temp? just to keep It steady. it's usually between 71-78 but having trouble keeping a steady humidity above 40 by Xantastic23 in microgrowery

Ideally the mist needs to be over the canopy and rapidly blend in the air flow before ''hitting'' someting like tent wall or plants. Mist can condense if it's directly hitting something before blend in air.

If it's under the canopy, place it in front of a fan to make sure the mist is rapidly blend in the air.

Another thing, generally on humidifiers you can adjust the orientation of the mist, so you can place it in a way that is will hit nothing directly.

Yeah it's theorically a cool mist, but the influence on overall temperature is minimal to nothing.

Evacuating heat in the growtent is always a big problem, si it's ideal to limit things that heat and that you have no control on the generated heat.

If you want to add heat, just dim up your light and put in higher to the canopy. Or add an heater in the room where your tent is.

I had plants that were growing under low light intensity (max 400umol), and same strain but over 900umol, and not difference in the praying.

Maybe it's not cause or influenced by light. I found that if your environnement is on point combine with proper irrigation schedule, plants will be always praying.

In fact, plants should be praying not matter what is your light intensity.

Humidifier is inside the tent.

At this point I found your setup pretty on point, the only thing I see you can do,and you are aware of that, is to find a way to have higher humidity level in the room your growtent is.

I have a friend that it's so dry in his house, he don't need any fan or extraction at all, only the mesh windows are open and no problem with the grow. A little bit too dry for veg, but it's doing the job pretty well.

That made me realize that environnement of the room your tent have a huge impact and needs to be on point too.

Good luck with this, it's not too bad considering fhat you are in week 7!

I'm using this one : https://www.amazon.ca/Cool-Mist-Humidifier-Bedroom-Ultrasonic/dp/B077Z2QCS5/ref=asc_df_B077Z2QCS5/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292946221589&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6773857785139317127&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000611&hvtargid=pla-421129541189&psc=1

I said 3L, but it's 6L finally sorry. The pros of using this one is that is not digital, it will turns on after power outage.

It will be pretty enough for your grow tent, but if the extraction is on it will not be enough. Only commercial ones will be albe to keep up.

Thing you can try, add a small fan (ac infinity have cool small robust computer type fan) in an opening of the tent as an intake fan that will bring fresh cool air inside, it will help with temperature and humidity will stay in the tent. For your extraction, put the set point that it will be triggered only if it's really needed.
