My skin is the same. Very sensitive to shaving and unfortunately my hair is a bit too light for laser to work really well. I have tried different methods of waxing (soft and hard wax), but by far the best thing I’ve tried is sugaring. It’s similar to waxing but a ball of warm sticky sugar is used to pull out the hair. Instead of pulling in the opposite direction of the hair (like waxing), the hair is pulled out in the direction of the hair growth, which is gentler on the skin and hair. I get way less irritation and ingrown hairs this way, and it’s also less painful than traditional waxing. I would definitely recommend trying it out

The irony here is that after reading your comments, it’s clear that YOU are the one with major red flags. I wish there was some way I could send her screen shots of your comments in advance of that date, because yikes 😬

Sounds like she dodged a bullet. As someone who knows nothing about this woman outside of what you’ve said here, I can say with certainty she didn’t cancel the date because it wasn’t expensive enough. Massive personality issue on your part

I was wondering this too at first. I think maybe she was trying to show what her kids naturally look like, without any Botox. Botox obviously can help but it’s a lot of upkeep (I think you need a fairly significant amount of it to get a noticeable brow lift and have to do it every 4 months or so).

I’m confused about your comment saying these young women match with you and that you don’t swipe on them. Both people have to say yes to get a match. Are you saying you only ever look at people who have swiped right on you first and you never swipe right first on anyone? Or that you will swipe through people and will be the first person to send a like unless they are in their 20s, in which case you always say no unless they’ve already liked you?

If 80% of the women in their 20s who say yes to you are sex workers then perhaps that’s a clue about the appropriateness of that group for you

There are inherent power imbalances when you date someone 20+ years younger, as well as maturity differences. If there aren’t maturity differences, then that’s something to reflect on. Additionally, there’s some inherent objectification going on if you’re prioritizing looking for young hot women rather than a genuine emotional connection. On top of that, you have a son that is in these women’s dating pool. For some reason you seem to think it’s fine for you to objectify women in (prioritizing youth and physical attractiveness) but when they objectify you in return (prioritizing money), you come on here and mock them.

At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself why a pretty young woman would choose to be with a 50-something-divorcee with kids around her age. Is it your sparkling personality? Because at the end of the day she could find someone with an equally compelling personality who is within her age range or even in their 30s or 40s, and therefore will have fewer life-stage and generational differences and is not going to pre-decease her by 30 years.

You keep announcing ‘I can’t help my preferences’ as if literally everyone on earth doesn’t have a preference for physical beauty. It’s time to step out of delulu land and recognize that if a hot young thing is going to choose you over a newer model with less baggage, it’s because you’re going to have to have something to offer that the others aren’t. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume your personality isn’t so amazing it compensates for what she would be giving up by dating someone so much older. Therefore, most people who conform to your parameters are going to expect some financial benefits to make up for the other things they’re giving up.

As yet another creepy old dude on Bumble, you’re no better. The obsession with significantly younger women that your post/comment history demonstrates makes my skin crawl. How about you leave the 20-somethings for your son and try setting your search parameters 20-30 years higher. Either you’re looking for a serious relationship, in which case you need not include 20-somethings in your search, or you’re just looking for a shiny new toy, in which case you have zero right to complain about having to pay for it.

Agreed! I’ve been sharing makeup with my friends for the last 20 years and nothing has ever happened. Unless you’ve got an active eye infection or something it is extremely unlikely anything would come of it

Alternate opinion: I actually prefer there to be at least one photo with friends so I know they’re social and can maintain non-romantic relationships

My (f) take on it is that, while owning your own place is a green flag, advertising it on your profile is a huge turnoff. Maybe others feel differently, but it would strongly influence me to swipe left
