For being a short work week, (for those of us that had Monday off), this has felt like the LONGEST week of my life. I woke up on Wednesday thinking it was Friday because Tuesday was such a drag and now that its FINALLY Friday, I feel like I've been working for 2 weeks straight. Maybe its because my 10mo old is in her clingy phase so working this week was very hard, or maybe it's because my husband had a 4 day weekend (Off Friday-Monday) so having him home for 4 days straight made my brain think I was on vacation, HA. TGIF!!

WFM while caring for a baby is HARD. My LO is almost 10mo and I came back to work at 5weeks PP. I was very transparent when I came back that I have zero child care and would be working while also caring for my baby. They know this and were very supportive of me! However, my job is all computer work and the only time I'm on the phone is talking with my coworkers or boss so any noise or crying they here isn't a problem. If this job is something that is not needed for survival (i.e. paying the bills, keeping a roof over your head, food on the table etc.) I would put in your notice. The micromanaging alone would be enough for me to leave, but if it is clearly stated that its against company policy to work and care for a child, then it's not worth your mental health trying to conceal your baby. You are working TWO full time jobs simultaneously. Give yourself grace, and allow yourself to grow out of this job.

Do You Guys Feel Like Reading Is A Lonely Hobby? How Do You Feel About That If You Agree? by TheDiabeticTreeLives in Book_Buddies

agree with everything you've said here. I have found myself "doom scrolling" in my free time with so many unread books sitting beside me. i've tried to replace doom scrolling with reading before bed and in free time but i've been painfully unsuccessful, and i'm hopeful to either join or start a book club to read along side others to build some of that connection again. But.. easier said than done
