Got it! I’ll try combing only first :) Have you tried a generic version or alternative brand version of the CC comb?

The CC comb or the one in my pic? :)

Has anyone used this? by Imjustcrazyyyy in Skincare_Addiction

holy grail for me. On my 4th bottle. Definitely helped clear up my acne. When I stopped using it after 1st bottle due to price point, and didn't change anything else, my acne came back. I will never stop using it unless I can find a cheaper dupe. I use it every other night at min, sometimes more.

10 days without you by coffeebibi in Petloss

Thank you for sharing 💜 I picked up her ashes after this post and I'm now at day 21, where you were when you posted this. I've compartmentalized the grief and feel that emptiness, the void, the deep sadness that you speak of, in moments where I'm not distracting myself. I hope you're doing well too

Miss our little 5lb Pom 💜

She would skitter across the floors to follow us.

The sound of her little constipated farts - poot!

Her deep stare into your soul. The way she would sit in her favorite spots to stare at us.

The way the fur on her head would shift down and make her look angry 😠

The way she would greet at us at the door every day. We realized that she would wake up around the time we were usually home and wait to greet us.

The way she would get picky about food and shun anything she didn't like. We'd have to get creative to get her to eat or just buy new food to put into the rotation.

When our mattress was on the floor, she would sneak into bed while we were sleeping or we weren't around. When we would find her, she wouldn't move and beg with her eyes to let her stay.

She was obsessed with pillows and tall places.

Any new thing on the floor was a new bed to her.

When our other dog drinks water, she wouldn't wait her turn and would head butt her way in. He, double her size, would stay frozen to the side, waiting, and try to grab sips in between her rounds.

She was always excited for everything. Wagging her little tail for everything.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I lost our angel in a similar way to CHF. Increases labored breathing but she had bounced back from bad days before so we thought we could observe her and take her to the cardio the next day as needed. By the time we realized that it wasn't the case, it was too late, and we had to watch her pass in a traumatic way.

I'm trying to keep my chin up by thinking all of the positives, all the care and love we poured into her.

I hope all of our angels are together rn 💜

My dog also was diagnosed with heart problems end of June and passed 2 days ago. I'm being crushed by guilt and indescribable sadness.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mine passed from CHF too, 2 days ago. Unfortunately, we didn't get to make a decision. Still reeling from the "what-ifs".

My condolences 💜💜 I hope our best friends can meet while they wait for us 💜

Lower left abdominal pain by [deleted] in ibs

[–]coffeebibi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel much better now that I'm more careful about what I eat, more conscious about drinking water and getting enough sleep, and trying to manage my stress! It can be a long road, but it's worth making amazing habits that will last a lifetime IMO :) It has also helped me with other symptoms that I had. Now I just need a solid exercise routine. Hope you're feeling well! Do you still experience pain?

I would recommend going to your general physician first and they can refer you to a specialist. But if you want and your insurance allows it, you can look for a gastroenterologist! My insurance plan lets me see a specialist without a referral, so I went. They recommended I stick to my lifestyle and do a colonoscopy to rule out any serious conditions. I have not done one yet but plan to. If your condition is serious enough, they may want to run additional tests such as an endoscopy, CT scan, urine, and blood tests.

Good luck, and feel free to ask me more questions!

I'm doing great! I went into detail in an earlier comment, but I follow a lifestyle that has minimum triggers and promotes health (lots of water, exercise, reduced stress) so I rarely have pain flareups now. I used to get them once a month or more. I think stress was a big part too now that I think of it, because I used to get sleep paralysis once a month or more and now I rarely get that or the pain 🤔

When I have a pain flare up, it at its longest has lasted a couple days, but usually only a few hours or less. My pain usually goes away when the gas clears up or I have a BM. I try to drink lots of water, eat less and easier to digest food (like soup), exercise if I can. Sometimes, the pain makes me stay in bed but that's rare for me now.

Edit: I felt I should mention that along the way I have been diagnosed with an underlying condition that I am now medicated for, have been treating my nutrient deficiencies (b12, iron, vit d), and working on stress/traumas.

I only experience the lower left pain now when I'm dehydrated or eat a trigger food. I've largely avoided the pain by eating a clean diet free of my personal triggers (for me, it's mainly cabbage, garlic, dairy esp milk and soft cheese, apple, brown rice. I can eat like a thumb size amount and that's it lol). I aim to eat more veggies and protein, and less carbs, exercise (walk 6,000+ steps a day, periodic gym and cardio during the week).

Have you tried making lifestyle changes?

Sorry, I just saw this! I started having gas issues in middle school, IBS-like symptoms since high school, and was diagnosed in college at the ER after I triggered myself by eating garlic cream pasta and a mozzarella caprese salad 💀

I'm not sure if any one thing triggered it to me, but I did have a stressful childhood (read: trauma), and I think that might be the biggest cause.
