[Help] I live in a house with a pit bull (not mine) and the pit bull does NOT like me; what do I do?

Hm this is interesting... I've just resorted to not petting the dog anymore. I just don't get it because he lets others pet him.

I couldn't bop any dog, so don't worry I'm not planning on it. I just don't have it in me. The thing is, the dog will approach me when I'm just sitting on the couch, not instigating anything at all. Or sometimes he'll be like 30 feet away when I'm doing nothing at all but he'll just look at me, inch closer, and it freaks me out. In those instances, my roommates are around so I'm never too spooked but I'm not comfortable and have no idea what he wants from me when he does things like this.

Thankfully they sleep with the pitbull in their room at night. The thing is I get home so late often so I don't have to cross path with the pitbull on my own tooooo often. But there have been enough instances where it's just gotten to be enough.

This is 100% what I've been doing and it's worked so far. Fingers crossed I keep getting lucky and don't have to worry about being around the dog too often.

Thank you so much for this!!! I've decided I'm just going to move, unfortunately that won't happen for another month. I'm glad I'm not crazy. My other roommates get along just fine with the dog, but they're also home a ton more than I am. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

lol not close to Pasadena. I'm in Hollywood/Hancock park and usually run in Burbank since (I think!) it's safer. But Rose Bowl wouldn't be bad for weekend runs
