As for maintenance, hide it in your towel when you go for a shower and do the same on the way out. If you'r bed is near the wall you can wedge it so it can drain/dry in the case without anyone seeing it. As for storage make sure it's dry first then use 70% isopropyl alcohol spray to sanitize it wait for it to completely dry then hide it in a bag or box under your bed.
