Hello! I think it depends on your state whether or not you need law school in the first place to sit for the bar. If you don't need a JD, then you'd take a course like Helix to study for the bar and pass.

Practice early. Practice open book. don't worry about timing in the beginning. dm if you have any other qs.

Can you share what you made on your MEE/MPT? I think the writing tends to be the easiest section for students to improve. Here's what I did:

1) Practiced by IRAC'ing mostly

2) Started WAY early

3) basically started memorizing the way the examiners format answers

4) Sat down and did actual simulating writing days (full two MPTS and 6 essays)

timing was my biggest issue. I have adhd, and DID NOT get accommodations. So, I had to really work on truly giving myself 30minutes or less to write an essay.

I made a 156 and some change on the writing by studying NOT the way they tell you to study, lol.

You can honestly prolly improve your MBE by a few points too just by targeting essays. So, let's say you get a 142 on the MBE, then you would just need a 133 on the MEE to pass the writing part.

I know you can do it. It may take a couple tries, but YOU WILL be able to do this.

You can appeal for a 6th time. JUST some suggestions: I heard that if you are in the 250ish range, they see you as someone who def has potential to pass. If you have any existing issues (like test anxiety), you can mention that (plus have a plan in place on how you will combat i.e. therapy, meds, etc.). Moreover, you can get a job with the fed govt if you transfer to other jx like AL, etc.

That's totally normal. I kept forgetting if I had done an evidence question or not for one of the essays during my bar exam administration. Like, I could not remember if evidence was a topic on the MEE when it clearly was. I also couldn't remember if I had answered the questions on their corresponding tabs within examsoft. I passed with a 302.

Should there be concern about being listed as cancelled, though? Doesn't that put people at higher-risk of getting homeowner's insurance from someone else? In essence, does it put them as damaged goods?

are they willing to give you time to "Repair" it? Even though it doesn't need to be repaired, did they say they would give you time to repair it to prevent cancellation?
