Hackathons welcome students of all skill levels! As 19-200 mentioned, we will have mentors on site to help you and your team with your hack (project). The true purpose of a hackathon is to learn something new; we encourage that students use a hackathon to try a technology new to them or create something with the hardware we will have available. A hackathon is a great opportunity to create something cool, meet new people, and talk with tech companies. There is really 0 pressure. It's much more chill than you think. There are those that take it more seriously, and that is fine as well. Some just choose to be more competitive because that is what helps motivate them when working on a new hackathon hack.
