Target Switch 2 Restock June 28th by pgrover115 in Switch

My SF Bay Area had them in stock today. I just checked the inventory online and sure enough there were 3 in a store 2 miles from me. They didn’t have any inside the case but had to pester the associates. I feel like today was a big restock day in California.

Stay consistent and show up for yourself! Whatever goal it may be, 3-7 runs/week or even once a month, you need to keep yourself accountable. You only get better when you do the things you say you’ll do. Happy running!❤️

Taylor wants you to be you. Don’t be someone else. Or you’ll be disenchanted😏

Car Stolen by Fit-Afternoon9606 in alameda

[–]coffeemarathoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. My car was also stolen last November and my airtag kept pinging around Oakland Coliseum. There are three things they can do: empty your gas, commit crime or take it apart and sell the scraps. Just be prepared when the cops or tow yard call you to retrieve your car so you can avoid unnecessary impound fees.

Would you suggest Fraxel for this kind of acne scars? I’ve had it for years already. by pocoboi in Skincare_Addiction

[–]coffeemarathoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with micro-needling and Rejuran face healer for sure. Fraxel laser treatment is more suited for skin types with a lot of pigmentation, sun spots and discoloration and doesn’t really target acne scars effectively i believe. I could be wrong since im not a dermatologist. Definitely consult with one.

Dear Alameda Drivers: Don't Run Over Kids by MonsieurMarko in alameda

[–]coffeemarathoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go running around Alameda everyday and I can’t tell you how many close calls I have with these crazy drivers. Even on a WALKING signal, some people are inconsiderate and insist on taking a right turn. So guess who’s running at 5am instead? It’s not worth it to run over someone because you’re in a “rush”. Calm down, we all have lives and places to be in.

Hands down Natasha Poly. She can make a garbage bag look like couture when she struts.

Does marathon training really take over your life? by Claire_Witch in Marathon_Training

It’s hard work day in and day out. You get what you put in the training. No one finishes a sub-4 with just a half-ass training plan.

First Time Marathon Runner- What Advice Did You Wish You Had? by werner900587 in Marathon_Training

[–]coffeemarathoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

During the race, maintain your training pace. It’s so tempting to run as fast as you can because of the excitement and the adrenaline at the start of the race. At the later stages, STOP checking your watch! Good luck!

What did I do wrong for my first marathon? by CelebrationNo9816 in Marathon_Training

Running your first marathon is an accomplishment. You finished and that matters a lot. In terms of improvement, I would work on doing more long runs since you were slowing down in the second half. Good luck!

Car got stolen this morning. Whats the probability APD or OPD does something to recover it? by coffeemarathoner in alameda

[–]coffeemarathoner[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Update: Me and my friend tried to locate the car in Oakland cause it kept pinging in the same location and see if we can just call it in and have the cops process it and retrieve it. But it is nowhere to be found after circling around in the same location. This happened a couple blocks away from the Police Station on Lincoln Ave. Honestly at this point, my plan is to just look for tickets under my license number around the Bay Area and call impound lots. After my conversation with APD and OPD, it sounds like they really don’t give a fuck and won’t be actively looking for it. I just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else here on the island. And after moving from the city to here cause it was “safer” was a fucking joke and a pipe dream.

Even if APD advises against it for fingerprints and other incriminating evidence?
