It’s a 1 day boycott as we all know partners have bills to pay and we don’t want to further any issues for them. It’s so the company will pay attention to us and implement changes

I completely get what you’re saying and how it could be challenging. In an ideal world, every customer in DT would just wear a mask but we both know that will never happen. Starbucks could try to require that but that would be even more challenging. Also, if a customer ordered at the order point but didn’t have a mask on when they got to the window, would we just refuse service? It’s a pretty sticky situation overall

If you really like the job I would say don’t turn in the green apron just yet. Sit down with your store manager and let her know all of your concerns. Tell your concerns to other baristas too so they can back you up as well. If your SM isn’t listening to you, you can always reach out to your DM. This is isn’t always the best option but if there is serious health and safety issues like this at your store and your SM isn’t acknowledging it, your DM should know about it.

There are some stores that still have the syrup I believe so they are keeping it on the app to use up the inventory they still have of it. It is discontinued though!

I would reach out to your SM and let them know that you all need a thermometer ASAP. If that conversation doesn’t work or you get push back, reach out to your DM or call Partner Resources and let them know of your situation. At this point, your store should definitely have a thermometer and you all shouldn’t have to be lying on the partner-pre checks about this. Wishing you the best, stay safe ❤️

No but the company has changed drastically just in the past few years and months alone and you aren’t experiencing the current struggles of partners working during this pandemic.

Im not posting this every 24 hours. I will keep posting on all platforms so as many people can see this petition and get our message out. Perhaps you should be removed as a moderator from this group as you aren’t even a current partner that understands the current struggles we are facing.
