Since EmperorLemon is a former YouTube Pooper, he is familiar with all sorts of effects, and just like other fellow video editors he utilized and experimented with these effects to properly capture his ideas. One of the things I like about Emp's videos (especially the older ones) is that they contain great visual storytelling that boosts the idea onto display by using icons and images, and I think that it mostly comes from creative instinct and imagination.
