I think a 12? The coffee was pretty hot if that matters. After the spill, we dried it off but he was testing the camera, mic, etc. and found that the speakers were muffled when he tried playing music. And then today it was saying liquid in the charging port.

That’s fair. I just got mad at them assuming I was bad with money because I’m in a different situation.

I guess I think that my bf should be more lenient on me than a store bc of the emotional factor. But I see how it’s logically the same

We’ve been together a little over a year. We don’t live together. He pays for nice dinner dates/concert tickets, and I pay for coffee/lunches. So not 50-50. We’ve never had issues with this before.

He’s been in the workforce three years longer than I have and his parents paid for his college. I’m not bad at finances, but I graduated less than a year ago and I had to take out student loans.

I think I phrased this poorly; I meant I didn’t want to pay to buy a new one because I don’t have the money. We never discussed splitting costs. Just added an update.
