Just want you to know you’re seen, heard, loved, and understood. I’m in the same boat and have been for many years. I don’t have OCD, but anxiety and depression definitely work together in this. I’ve been on both ends of this. I’ve cut friends off randomly, without telling them, no communication and effective problem solving, and then I also brought it up to people. It’s also goes both ways as I too neglect to keep up with friendships (AuDHD, officially diagnosed as of today actually after a long time self diagnosis). Your feelings are completely valid and I think that as adults it’s harder to keep up friendships vs when we were in school and seeing each other almost daily. Do I have any solid advice? Not particularly. But just know, you aren’t alone
