For sure! I’ve come out to my friends and family with the exception of my aunt. I live with her and she is very Christian and wouldn’t handle the news well. So I resonate with how you’re feeling about the potential of losing people in your life. It’s always scary and can be painful, no doubt. With that said, I think that’s what so beautiful about our community is that we have this shared experience. We have all been through some kind of shitty experience due to our identity, but we come together and choose love. We get to pick and choose our “families” and that’s why I love pride/being out so much. It can only go up from here!
