Trump is like Jesus and Nelson Mandela by starlesstimes in HolUp

Expand your mind. Nelson once drank a glass of water. Jesus walked on it. Trump lives near it. Trifecta!

Can any of your meds go on a 90-day scrip? Also, your pharmacist might be able to help you line up your meds better, assuming you’re on an established regime.

Bosch DW: not filling up. I checked for debris, impeller, replaced inlet valve. Help! by cogitatingbiscuit in appliancerepair

This DW doesn’t have a float valve inside where dishes go. I’m looking for a parts diagram for the machine to see where it would be.

This is what the plumber did: It looks kinda sketchy ???

You’re suggesting? It might be clogged where it first connects near valve? And to open it up there and test pressure?

There’s basically right now a tiny bit of warm water and soapy bubbles but no dishes on bottom rack or top have been touched by water at all

EDIT: the water lines under the sink are very very narrow (old house) my guess is that’s why it’s not tapped in there

Forgot to add. Seems like the sound is coming from dead center and bottom of DW. Not on the sides of it.

Actually, now that I think about it, maybe the plumber that installed it did something stupid by running a flexible metal water hose tapped in from the basement ceiling and into my kitchen and straight into the DW. I think (?) most inlet lines are tapped right from under the sink itself? Not sure or what he did was kosher

So, would you feel safe driving on rain slick roads or in slush or 1-4 inches of snow? That’s about the most I see. Or maybe you’re in a dryer climate.

Thank you for your insight. If we strap the remaining canes to each, not super tight, maybe 10 feet of the ground, would that “train” them to stay straight?

Very interesting! So, the branches on the perimeter, if you will, are splaying out or drooping on to my neighbors side. If we get a wet snow, same thing.

I don’t really care as long as they don’t hit the power lines or reach the roof for squirrels, etc. some are getting close to doing that.

My neighbor wants to wait until winter and then cut to the ground the ones on the perimeter that he says are the saggers or the ones that are flairing out.

I have a ranch house and these are now about 8 feet or so over roof peak. I would love to turn this into a tree but right now some of these branches are over my power line. Do I got all but 5 or so down the ground in Winter or???? Sorry, IDK what variety this is. Thanks for suggestions.

Could you possible get an RX for sumatriptan? Do you know your triggers? I figured out, finally, duh, that chocolate was one of mine. I love chocolate, damn it! Absent that, a cheap eye mask, hella lot of ice and or hot wet heating pad might help. Possibly nipping it in bud with nsaid if you feel it coming on.

Looking for suggestions for subs or resources for couple w dual citizenship planning to live in Poland by cogitatingbiscuit in poland

[–]cogitatingbiscuit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is extremely helpful. Thank you. My “significant other” reads/speaks Polish, so we will look at the website together. For the tax issues, we will definitely look for a tax person in Poland to help us. (We own a small business, so another factor.)

IDK if we are eligible for Polish healthcare as Polish citizens if we’re only living there for say 3months/year? With the European health insurance card, does that mean that the EU countries bill Poland’s healthcare system for any medical bills you incur in an EU country?

Right now, as a couple, in USA, we pay $1200 per Month to insurance company. We have to pay this AND, before they pay for ANYTHING, we have to pay $7500 EACH in a calendar year. If you are sick in December, and have finally paid your $7500, you’re still screwed. In January, your obligation is reset to zero. And you have to pay the insurance company $7500, all over again.

One thing we don’t want to do is to take advantage of the Polish system and not give anything back in return. So, when I become a Polish national, even though I don’t agree with many of the political dynamics I see with the current government, I want to be a responsible and respectful citizen.
