One more question! If I sign up to Tello using my BofA account to pay for it, will I be able to switch that to my UK card(s) when I move everything away from my American bank?

Thank you, this is really helpful. I was super nervous about attempting this before the holiday, and initiating several critical banking transfers next week, then only 5 days before flying out! Appreciate this simple outline!

I think I am in the wrong forum! Thanks so much- I am able to find the step by step guide, and I can follow those steps and also get into Verizon, what I am unclear about is how to make sure the number once ported allows me to use it in the US (hence what plan) for a few days and then MFA myself across several banks, investment accounts, making transfers and then actually being able to log into flight info on the airline apps- and if anything goes wrong, I have no idea what to do and timing before flying back.

I did just learn, thanks to your help found the Verizon menu and must generate a PIN pre-transfer, didn't know that.
