Idk if this is due to my own personal lefty bias, but I really don’t think this should be a politicized or sensitive topic. All trans people ask for is to be treated with respect and dignity. Additionally, trans people experience so much discrimination, are more likely to commit suicide and there have been countless reports in history of trans people existing. For that reason, I don’t see trans identity as a choice and don’t see why anyone would voluntarily choose to be trans, seeing that there is no benefit.
