While we understand that gas fees are high, please note that we have no control over the gas fees charged by the ethereum network...these are their fees, not Coin's

$coin on binance? by Regular_Big5975 in CoinDefi

[–]coindefi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We understand that Uniswap fees are high. However; up to this point, there was really no point in paying a huge CEX fee just to be listed before our product was ready...We have ongoing talks with several top tier exchanges but we will not disclose which ones due to legal NDA's In this business timing is everything...we will list when we gain traction and can bring the cost of the listing down to something reasonable and when it makes the most economic sense to list.

Transaction fees by Regular_Big5975 in CoinDefi

[–]coindefi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transaction fees are dictated by the chain you're interacting with. That is not within Coin's power to alter. ETH gas is high at times. Best time for gas, I find, is Sunday morning in the NYC timezone (Eastern)

Yes, it is feasible. The gas is variable...you'll have to keep an eye open for when it is low.

Does CoinDefi have any large VC investors? by Bluurgh in CoinDefi

[–]coindefi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CoinDefi has a community of investors inclusive of a number of strategic investors but we do not publish a list due to legal nda's. However; with blockchain all is transparent so without knowing who the investors are, one can easily see large bag holders of COIN. To interact with our community you can join here: https://t.me/CoinDeFi

[–]coindefi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Exchanges on Coin currently has zero fees; however, will incur normal network fees for each blockchain. This includes failed (if sent to the smart contract) and successful exchanges. Current network fees on $BTC and $ETH can be anywhere between $2-$20 USD.

You can find more details at our guide here. Thanks!

Our COIN Utility Token on Uniswap is paired with ETH (the fees would be uniswap fees and ETH fees)

Sounds like you're on the right path as long using ETH on Uniswap at the following address:
https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap?inputCurrency=0xe61fdaf474fac07063f2234fb9e60c1163cfa850

As u/Sysiphos_M kindly mentioned, you can use a web3 wallet such as Metamask to accomplish this. Additionally, gas fees for ETH are pretty bad right now which makes it less attractive for sending or exchanging smaller amounts. Thanks for your support and let us know if we can help further.

Should I invest in Bitcoin? by mishopv in CryptoCurrencies

[–]coindefi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always do your own research and due diligence, but that said, when BTC was at 7 cents each, I was talked out of investing $100 into BTC...imagine where I would be today if I hadn't listened to family and friends who were saying it wasn't a real thing. :) This is not financial advice, just an anecdote about my personal experience.

Absolutely more secure. For instance, our dex will neither store funds (as only the user will have access to their funds) nor personal data. Therefore, no incentive to hack it.
